Give Mark Beaumont a bike and he cycles round the world. Fast

Congratulations Mark!

"A British man has smashed the record for cycling round the world."

Poor Bloke, he was just nipping out to the shops for milk in East Kilbride and took the wrong exit at a Roundabout.  195 days later he gets home.  It was quicker to go round the world than try to work out his way back through East Kilbride.
Notice when we lose something, we are Scottish. When we achieve something we are British.

Update!!!  He's coming for a ride on the cosybike!!!    see www.cosybike.co.uk for details

Sheldon Brown Dies

www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/index.html

It's True, The world's most eccentric character and all round cycling guru has died. His outstanding knowledge and sense of humour solved many a stuck bottom bracket.

When I first found his website I thought it was surely made up, then I realised he was real. Sheldon had been recently diagnosed with MS, (aug 2007) but it didn't really stop him. He coped by buying a new bike!     Nice.

This page sums him up nicely
